Meet our motivational speaker, homeless advocate and chef. Born in Miami, Florida Cedric moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of eight, where he was raised by a single mother. Growing up in South Los Angeles he learned to navigate the harsh reality of gangs, drugs and hustlers. Despite the challenges of his environment Cedric found grounding and direction in church, where he developed his early sense of purpose and service. At 24, Cedric became a single father. To provide stability for himself and his child he took a position with the Los Angeles County Department Of Public Social Services. Although Cedric was working full time he found himself amongst the working homeless. Cedric knew he wanted more, determined to pursue his passion he decided to pivot his path and enrolled in school for hospitality and culinary arts launching a journey fueled by creativity, service and advocacy. His mission is clear- to enrich lives, uplift communities and create lasting change. one person at a time.

Meet our Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, who brings a unique perspective to her work. Born in Harbor City, California, and raised in Los Angeles and corpus christi, she was exposed to drug addiction at an early age by having drug addicted parents. After becoming a teenage mother and experiencing a life-changing disorder, she lost her mother in 2009 to a drug overdose. this tragic event pivoted her and she found her calling in helping others. Today, she is dedicated to those struggling with substance use disorder, empowering them to overcome ambivalence and embrace positive lifestyle changes.
